Dr. Ikejiani is the founder and medical director of Prime Obstetrics and Gynecology, PC a Tennessee professional corporation dedicated to women’s healthcare. Dr. Ikejiani has been in the private practice of Obstetrics and Gynecology since 1993.
Dr. Ikejiani is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and a fellow of the International College of Surgeons.
A 1984 graduate of the College of Medicine, University of Nigeria, Dr. Ikejiani trained at the Hubbard Hospital of Meharry Medical College, Nashville, Tennessee and at the A. B. Chandler Medical Center of the University of Kentucky in Lexington, Kentucky.

On May 30, 2017, TriStar StoneCrest Medical Center delivered their first triplets since the hospital opened in 2003. Nwado Chukwurah gave birth to three precious babies, two boys and a girl. Afam Ikejiani, M.D., OB/GYN delivered the triplets through a caesarian section. All three babies were born healthy with birth weights ranging from 3 pounds 15 ounces – 4 pounds 4 ounces.
“The delivery was a well-orchestrated event. Thanks to the great teamwork, we were able to discharge all three babies over a period of 14 days without any complications. I am delighted to say the babies and mother are doing well,” concluded Dr. Ikejiani.
